Winter Edition (2026)

The Second Quarter is over; the First Semester has ended.  2nd Quarter Report Cards were published in Aspen on Friday January 30th.  In the midst of an actual New England winter, Quarter 3 is well under way!  We are all pleased with the effort, attention, and productivity displayed on the Elements Team!  If there is anyone who would like to meet with the team to discuss concerns or issues, please contact either Mr. Voccio or Mrs. Bouchard to schedule a meeting.  Let’s make sure to get off on the right foot, especially before Mid-Quarter on March 3, 2026.

Please remember that the Google Classroom is not an official grade; all official grades are entered into Aspen.

We have two new members on our Team that have been making an impact on Quarter 3 academics.  First, Ms. Beth McCombe has been the long-term substitute for Mrs. Skaling’s ELA classes as she is currently out on maternity leave.  Ms. McCombe is a former Park View Middle School and Cranston High School East ELA teacher (retired).  Second, Mr. Connor Bausman has taken over Mr. Voccio’s Social Studies classes as a resident student teacher from URI.  Mr.  Bausman has previously completed his practicum teaching experience in Mr. Voccio’s classes during the First Semester.

Finally, we have had THREE rounds of competitions completed so far for this year’s HOMEROOM LOLLAPALOOZA (October Scavenger Hunt, November Veterans Day Kahoot & December’s Reindeer Games), and here are the standings going into March Madness:

Homeroom 222

Homeroom 216

Homeroom 217

Homeroom 215

Homeroom 208

Enjoy the Winter Recess to all the Elements families!
